All responses are combined with answers from other survey participants and reported in aggregate so that no specific individual is identified. However, M3 MI may match some of your personally identifiable information with unaffiliated third-party data providers or management platforms in order to improve data models or enrich our analysis of your responses. We hope the following statement will help you understand how M3 MI collects, uses and safeguards personal information provided to us through our surveys and on our website.
The Information We Collect and How We Use It
Please be assured that all information about you is strictly confidential and only collected for research purposes. We do not sell, or make available to anyone outside our organization, the names, addresses, phone numbers, or e-mail addresses of physicians or consumers in our databases.
Cookies, Digital Tags, and Usage Information
Our site may use cookies to keep track of returning users. Our online surveys ask visitors for contact information for the purpose of sending the honorarium after they complete surveys. In addition, some of our emails may include a digital tag (e.g., a pixel) to record when users visit professional websites that have the associated digital reader installed. No data is collected from a user's computer except the ID of that cookie. The tracking tag only works as long as it appears in the image cache of your Internet browser.
You may remove the pixels simply by deleting the image cache in your web browser. You may also delete cookies by opening your browser's Privacy settings and making the appropriate selections to delete your existing cookies. Cache clearing and cookie removal vary by web browser type. If you are unsure of how to clean your cache or delete cookies, locate the "Help" function in your browser's menu.
