Mobile Technology In the Patient / Caregiver
& Physician Interaction

Mobile technology continues to revolutionize the healthcare landscape, transforming the way patients, caregivers, and physicians interact.

Wearable and health apps, ranging from fitness trackers to advanced health monitors, provide real-time data that empowers patients to take a proactive role in their health management. For physicians, this technology can offer information that enhances diagnostic accuracy and personalize treatment plans.

To analyze the attitudes and adoption of this technology for a patient/caregiver and physician interaction we looked at our MARS Consumer Health and Physician Digital Insights studies, which showed:

Healthcare Consumers

A physician’s recommendation of a mobile app can encourage usage among patients who filled an Rx or caregivers involved in medical decisions. A majority of both audiences agree that using a mobile device that sends an HCP health data would help them in their medical decisions.
